Future of
Africa offers numerous opportunities for interested students to get involved. There is NO EXPERIENCE
required to get involved; however, we expect our members to show dedication and
willingness to play an active role in our activities. We are open to new ideas guided by passion, vision to make a difference and an ambition to act towards achieving them. Some of the benefits students can gain from playing an active role in FOA includes:

Africa on a first hand bases

self-awareness through experencial and service learning

stereotypes and misconceptions about Africa

mindful and accepting of difference

FOA issues membership cards to all registered members
. We use these cards to track our member's active participation in club's activities. Students who actively participate in club's initiatives are eligible to:
- Receive a reference letter indicating active participation
- Membership Certificate
- Add FOA to CCR Record
- Reduced cost to attend FOA sponsored events
- Reduced cost for FOA swag!
There
are different ways to get involved with Future of Africa, however,
there is a mutual working relationship between all these positions to
enhance the development of skills and experiences, while getting the
task at hand done effectively.
Vice Presidents:Volunteers
in these positions are appointed based on their level of dedication,
knowledge about club, enthusiasm, ability to take initiatives and the
experience needed to improve the club's development.
Coordinators:Volunteers
in these positions are selected based off their interest and dedication
towards the club. There is NO experience required for this position as
long as applicants show genuine desire to learn and contribute
efficiently to the running of the club. Students who fulfill their
roles diligently could be considered to fill the Vice President
positions.
FOA Ambassadors:Ambassadors represent the
voice and face of Future of Africa. Volunteers in this position are
selected based on their strong people skills, high energy and their
ability to promote club's activities and initiatives.
